Working for a living is starting to look less and less compelling almost everyday.
Jobs are being automated and it is becoming clear that mass unemployment is on the horizon for the U.S. workforce, especially those working in retail, truck driving and the other most common jobs in the United States.
The owners of capital, assets and technology seem most likely to benefit from disruption in the next decade. It's up to us to position ourselves wisely, and it will be up to us to ensure that the poor are not oppressed by the owners of capital, assets and technology.
President Donald Trump seems to get most of the attention now but this theme, the theme of automation, disruption and possibly mass unemployment will define the 2020's.
