Do you take (individual) selfies?

I personally don't take any individual selfies and if I did, it would be an anomoly.

The only real reason I could imagine myself taking an individual selfie is if I was taking a before and after picture of the weight loss I experienced, or if I needed thumbnails for @dtube (example: @kenmelendez does this).

I wasn't always like this though. Back in the days of MySpace, most of my pictures were selfies, and it remained that way into the early days of Facebook.

But in 2009, I moved from the United States to the Philippines and married @emaferice. By marrying her, I joined a large family and gained an abundant amount of group photos, family photos and of course, photos with my wife and son.

All of my photos are now taken with other people, and minus the exceptions I mentioned, I think it will stay that way for the rest of my life.

CONCLUSION:

People might be fond of taking selfies based on not having enough special people in their life to take photos with. This is only one explanation and one example but I will say this, I wasn't aware that I was a little lonely until I moved to the Philippines and became less lonely.

P.S. The photo at the top of this answer was taken with @zaclucasrice, my one and only son.
