For those of you that know me, and for the people that have seen my photos throughout the years, it's probably obvious that I have had an on and off relationship with good health.

I have been in good shape physically at one moment, and then in terrible physical health the next. I have also thought clearly with a sound mind, only to lose my mind in a mental sort of breakdown, but I think that is largely based on my previous priorities.

I haven't really focused on all around good health until recently, and it was never my number one priority, but I eventually realized that health is what everyone is searching for.

When someone searches for a romantic partner, marriage or a family, they are interested in increasing their mental & emotional health through companionship, love and good company. The same is true for wanting more money, more food or better shelter, it increases our mental, emotional and even physical health - at least that is the goal.

Everything we do as human beings is intended to decrease our suffering, and if possible - increase the pleasure we experience. If a person is actively searching for ways to decrease suffering in their own life, in the lives of others, and is open to experiencing at least a minimal amount of pleasure, I believe they are on the path of good health.

That is my goal - I want to decrease suffering in my life, in the lives of others, and I am open to healthy amounts of pleasure (i.e quality time with my wife, son, family and friends). The first step is eating healthier, drinking healthier liquids like water and losing body fat.

Here's to one more try, one more attempt at maintaining good physical health, and my first attempt at maintaining all around good health - EVERYTHING!
