I love you Zac | Purchasing More Steem
It was another day in the house with baby Zac @zaclucasrice since Mommy @emaferice was attending a seminar again. Fema @emaferice messaged me from school and asked me to get her something from a nearby store, so I grabbed my bag, told Crislyn & Sam, and then sat down next to Zac.
Sam is the first one who noticed that Zac started crying when he saw my bag. He wanted me to sit down with him longer and hug him more . . . so I did.
Lately he hasn't been as much into playing as much as he's into being held, hugged and sat with. It's a new phase for Zac since until recently he had been really into playing with toys. He also likes opening and closing books, turning the pages and sometimes when I read he acts like he's reading too.
On another front, I should be able to Power Up again soon, maybe even tomorrow. I purchase Steem through @blocktrades using Bitcoin and Filipino Pesos so the amount in USD isn't always the same but it is close to $130 USD a month.
If you want to read my plan for investing in Steem, I wrote a post about it last month. I also wrote a post about investment mistakes that pretty much everyone wants to avoid, and the advice I gave in the second post is serving me well during this downturn.
As for my thoughts about @steemit and the @steem blockchain, I am happy with @ned and his performance as CEO.
During the bull market @ned focused on speed (not cost reduction), out-competing other blockchains in terms of applications and use-cases. Now that the market is turning for the worse, he is changing course - cut 70% of his staff and plans to reduce costs by an additional $750,000 USD annually.
I am not a fortune teller so I cannot predict the future with 100% accuracy, but I feel pretty good about buying into Steem during these 'Dark' times.
