What was the best period of time for you on Steemit?
The best time period of my @steemit journey is NOW.
In my view, the Steem blockchain has never been in better shape, granted development has slowed now that Steemit Inc. is cutting costs but the blockchain as a protocol is more developed now than it has ever been.
@steemmonsters has proven that a successful business can be launched on the blockchain, and there are promising new projects about to be launched like @dstors and @tokenbb.
To top it off, the price of Steem is getting closer to the all-time low and currently trades at 22 cents. I half expected these prices so I only started buying in October, 2018 at 79 cents.
My average price per Steem is about 55 cents and will lower significantly in the first week of January if I can buy in the low 20 cent range. I plan on accumulating 3,000 Steem for my family during this bear market and if possible, I will eventually target 10,000 Steem, and then 15,000 Steem.
The only better time than now for me will be in the future, and it gets better everyday. Because of the low traffic on the Steem blockchain, there are less posts now than a month ago, so the rewards I receive now are considerably higher than they were 30 days ago.
Some people did leave the blockchain but enough people stayed that I get to enjoy posts everyday. Authors like @kenmelendez @freedompoint @exyle @gadrian @helenoftroy @jonmaim @scaredycatguide and @themoneygps keep me entertained and I get to communicate with some of them regularly.
In addition to the community and the ability to buy in at the current lows, I have always wanted to create a successful Internet project of my own and will be able to do that on a small scale with @tokenbb. I can also use my Steem Power as an incentive for users to post on my upcoming online forums.
This is a good time to be on the Steem blockchain!
